Minnesota Lawmakers Oppose the Will of the People

Minnesota Lawmakers Oppose the Will of the People

In yet another blow to sanity, members of the Senate Health & Human Services Committee on Tuesday passed SF3439 on a party-line vote (DFL in favor, GOP opposed).

Here is the link to watch the hearing and the many great testimonies in case you missed it: https://mnsenate.granicus.com/player/clip/13569?view_id=5&redirect=true

SF3439/HF3239 would remove our longstanding conscientious exemption to the MMR vaccine for school and daycare entry.

This would require EVERY Minnesota child to receive this vaccine to attend schools or daycares – including homeschoolers, public and private schools. The bill has now been referred to the Education Policy committee.

Please start reaching out to those committee members (email AND call): (https://www.senate.mn/committees/committee_bio.html?cmte_id=3120) and prepare your 2 minute testimony so when the hearing is scheduled you are prepared. Even if you do not want to speak publicly, you can submit your written testimony to the committee members. The hearing has not been scheduled yet but follow VSCM on Facebook for updates.

We are thankful to all the great testifiers who showed up to oppose this bill, especially to mothers like Jessica who spoke about their child’s vaccine injury. We are also thankful for Senators Utke, Lieske, Abeler, and Koran for standing for the vaccine injured and for medical freedom.

In addition, Minnesota Democrats have introduced a slew of bad bills which seek to remove or make it harder to obtain Minnesota’s long standing conscientious exemption and remove parental rights and vaccine CHOICE.

This flies completely in the face of recent polling, which shows the MAJORITY of Americans – both Democrats and Republicans – support the right to choose!

🚫 We OPPOSE SF4458

This bill would eliminate all conscientious exemptions for every child in Minnesota. It applies to all children – those in daycare, homeschool, public school, and private school. Freedom of religion and conscience are protected in the First Amendment of the US Constitution and the Minnesota Constitution. Removal of conscientious exemptions is a direct violation, leaving no avenues for families in Minnesota.

Would require families seeking a conscientious exemption to complete a state-mandated “education” session with a doctor and obtain their approval before accessing the exemption. Physicians are not trained nor should be given authority over matters of faith and conscience.

Removes the conscientious exemption specifically for the MMR vaccine. This is one of the most controversial vaccines in religious communities due to its development using aborted babies.

🚫 We OPPOSE SF4416

Would allow the Commissioner of Health alone to add vaccines to the schedule, removing an important layer of oversight.

Governor Tim Walz made it clear early in his first term that he planned to use his authority to take away vaccine choice rights. (Be aware that some links from this article no longer work)

However, other legislators who hope to be re-elected may want to reconsider supporting this power grab, knowing that the majority of voters do NOT support being forced to take liability-free vaccines!

Remember:
* Vaccine makers bear no liability for injuries and deaths caused by CDC recommended vaccines.

* Vaccines do not need to prove they prevent the recipient from getting or spreading the disease in question to be licensed by the FDA.

* Live virus vaccines (like measles, mumps, rubella, and chicken pox) can shed disease from the recipient on to others for weeks following vaccination.

* No vaccine on the current recommended CDC schedule was tested for safety against an inert placebo pre-licensure, leaving us with no way to determine if the vaccine causes more harm than good.

* Post-licensure reports to VAERS (our only method of tracking vaccine injuries and deaths) are ignored by public “health” authorities, leaving us with no way to determine if the vaccine is causing more harm than good.

* Studies show that vaccinated children are far sicker, have far more chronic, lifelong illness, and die more in infancy than non-vaccinated children.

* Other states are moving to protect their children from injuries by reducing vaccine requirements, while tyrannical Minnesota legislators are moving in the wrong direction.

Remember also that Minnesota’s conscientious exemption encompasses matters of faith. By removing it, Minnesotans would be denied their religious freedom, which is a constitutional right in America AND in Minnesota!

There will be a huge backlash and legal battle if our conscientious exemption is removed. Thankfully, rulings are stacking up in favor of the PEOPLE in multiple lawsuits around the country. Entities who forced people to take COVID vaccines (or fired or canceled them for not complying with mandates) are LOSING in court.

Please take action on all of these bills NOW!

Know your rights and be prepared to fight for them. Thank you for continuing to stand with us against forced vaccination in Minnesota!
